Join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30am for a traditional worship service. Westminster is a community of believers who seek to affirm and love all humans. We are an open minded group and believe each person is on a spiritual journey, yearning for a connection to the divine. We believe that small changes can make a big difference, as we seek to serve our community and minister to those in need. We believe in supporting families as they grow within the warm environment of the church family​.

Mission for June
Westminster Supports our central city Well of Life food pantry. Bring cereal and your change in June! Milk cartons will be placed in the Narthex to collect money for the Well of Life food pantry to purchase milk for families in the community.

Spending Time in a Meaningful Way
Time management is always an issue for me. When I was working it was more essential. Retirement time management is trickier for me. I am pleased to find a new opportunity to spend my time in a meaningful way. The Well of Life is a Food Pantry is my new gig. Seven churches in Springfield work together to provide food to people who need it. We are open on Tuesdays and Fridays, 10:00 to 1:45 PM. It is relaxed and meaningful. I volunteered to represent Westminster as a board member of this agency, and I am also volunteering. Could you spend a few hours a month helping people receive food? I hope so! We are looking for a few volunteers from member churches. Please ask me or Marga Pogue, another regular volunteer, what it requires.
